Effective Date: February 15, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern all catering services provided by Bold Palate Catering Services (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to the client (“Client”, “you”).
By confirming a booking and/or paying a deposit, the Client agrees to the following terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
1.1 All catering services require a signed agreement and/or written confirmation.
1.2 A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total estimated invoice is required to secure the event date.
1.3 Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2 For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required upfront.
2.3 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services without refund of deposit.
3. Guest Count & Final Details
3.1 Final guest count must be confirmed at least 5 days prior to the event.
3.2 The confirmed guest count will be the minimum number charged.
3.3 Any increase in guest count after confirmation may incur additional charges and is subject to availability.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 Deposits are non-refundable.
4.2 Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event may allow partial credit toward a future booking at the Company’s discretion.
4.3 Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may require full payment of the agreed total.
5. Changes to Menu or Services
5.1 Menu changes must be requested no later than 7 days prior to the event.
5.2 Changes may result in price adjustments.
5.3 Substitutions may occur due to seasonal availability or supplier issues. Clients will be notified where possible.
6. Service Duration
6.1 Catering service includes food preparation, setup and agreed service time.
6.2 Extended service hours beyond the agreed timeframe may incur additional charges.
6.3 Overtime charges apply if the event runs beyond the agreed service duration.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 The Client is responsible for:

Providing accurate event details.

Ensuring access to the venue at the agreed setup time.

Providing adequate space for setup and service.

Securing any necessary permits or venue approvals.
7.2 The Company is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions or third-party vendors.
8. Equipment & Property
8.1 Any equipment provided by Bold Palate Catering Services remains our property.
8.2 The Client is responsible for any loss, theft or damage to equipment caused by guests or venue staff.
8.3 Replacement or repair costs may be billed to the Client.
9. Food Safety & Allergies
9.1 The Client must notify the Company of any known food allergies or dietary restrictions at least 5 days prior to the event.
9.2 While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
9.3 The Company is not liable for allergic reactions where prior written notice was not provided.
10. Leftover Food
10.1 Leftover food may be taken by the Client upon request.
10.2 Once food leaves our control, the Company is not responsible for food safety or storage conditions.
11. Liability
11.1 Bold Palate Catering Services shall not be liable for:

Delays caused by weather or venue restrictions.

Loss or damage caused by third parties.

Indirect or consequential damages.
11.2 Our liability is limited to the total value of the catering contract.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, supplier disruptions, or acts of God.
13. Photography & Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, the Company reserves the right to photograph catering setups for promotional and marketing purposes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
15. Acceptance
By confirming your booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
